You play as a girl named Even living on Onecroft but when your sister Odd turned 12, she managed to roll a 6 although a good thing you can’t help but feel uneasy, a year has passed, and Even has every reason to believe that Odd is in danger. By the Queen’s decree every citizen in the kingdom when they turn 12 rolls a 6-sided die, this will determine their social status and where they will live. Once upon a time, in the magical kingdom of random, there lived a queen who possesses the only die left in the kingdom the “black die”. They said “Hey, I know this person and they’d want it back” then just walked away as if I didn’t just pay for it.Īt least ask them how they got that disc or something, because now you’re just continuing the cycle of somebody having their disc taken.Lost in Random is an Action-adventure game with light deck-building aspects developed by Zoink, and Thunderfull the same team behind the critically acclaimed “it takes two”. One day, I threw one and this person picked it up. When I started, my Second Hand Sports store had a shit ton of used discs with numbers on them. That’s why I’m saying I completely understand the frustration, but you honestly never know. Granted, the odds are probably higher that they straight up took it and never called. I know that it sucks to lose a disc, but just stealing something that someone else has now paid for really is a childish move. A LOT of second hand sport/used sporting good stores never call the numbers on returned discs, so people end up buying them with numbers on it. ![]() However, you have no idea if that person throwing that day was the same person who initially took it. In theory, I get that you’d want to take the disc and run. Don't be surprised if someone just picks it back up or takes it back. Lesson learned is, if you are throwing someone else's disc, and you never called the person when you found it. Chunks missing and edges hit the pavement a lot, but it was mine. ![]() I would have maybe said something, but they never called. Watched them look for it for a while too. Your damn right I put that in my bag and just played on. He just gives me funny stare and tells me to flip it over. My same buddy was with me when I lost that white Surge on that hole. I am just finishing up my put, and this white disc from the group behind us comes out of nowhere and nearly hits me. I am playing hole 7 at the Glenwood Church and there was a group playing behind a 2-3 person group I was playing in. I live so close to the course and I was playing there a couple times a week. I threw it further/short/in a tree? Lost the white Surge on this hole 7. I have even hit chains with that disc on that hole, no ace. I would throw the Surge backhand real high on the left and snap it over, and it would anhyzer back and just be parked most of the time. That white surge was perfect for that hole. Blind shot, and I am right handed and never had a good sidearm. There 15-20 foot tall pine trees blocking the basket in the middle and lined down the right side. The hole was 320 feet or so down smooth slopping hill down maybe 20 feet in elevation change. When It comes to hole 7 at Glenwood, I would always use a white Surge. It's one of the best 9 hole courses I have played. Played this course 500 rounds or more over the years. To this day, I think a buddy of mine and I have played the 9 hole course at Glenwood Church in Washington more than Anyone. Even though I have lost some really nice discs that I really wish someone called me on, and have found my far share. I have always done the honorable thing and called on every disc I have found. I am from the Pacific NW and have played every course within 50-100 miles of me. I am not that old, only 31, but have been playing disc golf off and on for 14-15 years. Posting this because u/amazonjazz said it was the best lost disc story she has every heard. r/discgolfauctions - Auction off disc golf discs and disc golf related products Useful Info To avoid repetitive content we will create Megathreads and Stickies for users to share to and avoid issues of dozens of similar posts.
